What is an electric hoist, abbreviated as an electric hoist. Electric hoist is a special lifting equipment installed on overhead cranes and gantry cranes. Electric hoist has the characteristics of small size, light weight, simple operation, and convenient use, and is used in industrial and mining enterprises, warehouses, docks, and other places. Including electric motors, transmission mechanisms, and drums or sprockets, there are two types of electric hoists: electric hoists and chain electric hoists. Electric hoist is a special lifting equipment installed on overhead cranes and gantry cranes. Electric hoist has the characteristics of small size, light weight, simple operation, and convenient use, and is used in industrial and mining enterprises, warehouses, docks, and other places. Usually driven by a squirrel cage conical rotor motor with brakes, the starting weight is generally in the range of 0.1 to 80 tons, and the lifting height is 3 to 30 meters.

Most electric hoists are operated by manual buttons on the ground, and can also be operated from the cab or wired remote control. In addition to using electric hoists alone, they can also be assembled with manual, chain or electric trolleys and hung on the roof of buildings or beams of group cranes. Both chain hoists and chain hoists are called manual hoists, which use manual labor to move heavy objects.

Electric hoist is a widely used lightweight lifting equipment. It has the characteristics of small size, light weight, and large load-bearing capacity. Usually installed on electric single beam bridge type group cranes and suspension group cranes, used for lifting and relocating goods. Various types of electric hoists mainly include electric hoists, chain electric hoists, micro electric hoists, and explosion-proof electric hoists.

Usage and maintenance

1. For newly installed or dismantled electric hoists, they should first undergo several empty car test runs. But before the installation is completed, do not turn on the power for trial operation.

Before normal use, it should be lifted from the ground by about 100 mm under a rated load of 125%, subjected to a static load test for 10 minutes, and checked for normality.

3. Dynamic load test is a repeated lifting and lowering test conducted on the basis of the rated load weight. After the experiment, inspect the mechanical transmission part, electrical part, and left and right moving parts.

Whether the connection part is normal and reliable.

4。 During use, it is absolutely prohibited to use it in an unacceptable environment, exceeding the rated load and the rated number of shutdowns per hour (120 times).

5。 During installation, debugging, and maintenance, it is necessary to strictly check whether the limit device is flexible and reliable. When the hook rises to the upper limit position, the shell of the hook enters the drum. The distance between the shells must be greater than 50mm (10t, 16t, 20t must be greater than 120mm). When the hook descends to the lower limit position, the safety ring of the steel wire rope on the drum should be ensured, and the effective safety ring must be greater than two.
